Do you like change?…
That is always a tricky question to answer. I know lots of people that get really stressed and more than a bit panicky just thinking about things changing. I like to know what is what but certainly over the past few years have learned to see it as an opportunity rather than an ordeal to face. My blog looks more closely at how we can rise to the challenge and seize new opportunities. I would love you to share this with your contacts using the link below.
I liked the following quotation from Rowan Coleman’s ‘The Memory Book’ and I think that it sums up where I am right now.‘Being a mother is about protecting your children from every conceivable thing that might cause them hurt, but it’s also about trusting them to live the best way for them, the best way they can, and trust that even when you are not there to hold their hand that they can succeed’
I encourage my girls to go and follow their dreams and will do all I can to support them. It is their adventure though – I just need to find a way not to show exactly what I am thinking on my face!! I have always felt supported and loved by my parents and hope I am doing the same for my family. Perhaps that is the most important thing about change – if you are facing change from a positive place then it is much easier to embrace it as an opportunity and to take a chance.
