Welcome to my Autumn Newsletter. As the mornings get darker and the evenings too it is ever harder to keep focused and continue to get out and train. Here are some opportunities for sessions, ways to mix up your training and an offer to really challenge you in the lead up to Christmas. There are all the dates for your diary and the chance to book a massage too. ‘I want to get fit because……..’

Some of you will have seen details of my autumn offer on Facebook but here it is for everyone. This is for you if you are looking to build your fitness, take it to another level or simply to do more than you are doing right now. Sometimes you get stuck in a routine or feel that what you are doing each week is not enough.

Here is a chance to challenge yourself for the next 12 weeks. It can be a joint session or a solo – last time I had a husband and wife, a father and son and two friends that took the offer. They all had different objectives and we set up a plan for each of them. They all made amazing progress with their goals. Two of the pairs have continued training on a weekly basis and are doing far more now than they would ever have imagined. Just think what you could do if you made the investment in yourself!

What is included?
– Welcome Consultation
– 8 x 60 minute Personal Training Sessions
– A plan to follow at home or in the gym
– A cardio plan with a choice of running/walking/swimming/cycling
– Email and phone support throughout

I am repeating the special offer I made last time in return for regular feedback and a testimonial at the end. The costs are as follows

– For a pair £125 each
– For a solo £175

Dates for your Diary

Outdoor Bootcamp 
Meet at Stewarton Sports Centre Car Park 8-9am £5 per session.  Next sessions are Saturday 24th September, Saturday 1st October, Saturday 8th October, Saturday 22nd October and Saturday 29th October. We will then look at the forecast beyond then….

55+ Circuits
1.30-2.30pm Dunlop Church Hall. £30 for a 6 week block payable in advance. Booking is essential as places are strictly limited. Next block is Tuesday 25th October – Tuesday 29th November. I will also run 2 sessions at my house on Tuesday 18th October and Tuesday 6th December. These will be for 3 people at 12pm and 1pm at a cost of £7 each – to be booked and paid in advance.

Christmas Social Event
Once again we will be doing the Glasgow Santa Dash on Sunday 11th December and then going for brunch afterwards. Anyone can do the run – there are people with dogs, prams, toddlers. I will have my girls with me – they loved it last year. You can join us for the brunch afterwards if you can’t be tempted to run! I will be looking for numbers soon and will take a £5 deposit for the brunch at that stage.
Time to Relax
Following my focus on massage last month I have had a number of new clients commit to a monthly plan for £30. This gives a saving of £10 per month on the cost of a 60 minute massage. I currently have availability on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8pm and during the day on a Thursday. Please call 07814 788408 to book – choose a 45 minute treatment for £30, 60 minutes for £40 or arrange your monthly plan. Massages can be Swedish or Sports depending on whether you are looking for help with an issue or purely for relaxation.
Training Opportunity
I have a vacancy in a Group session on a Tuesday evening at 5.30pm. There are 10 sessions left before Christmas at a cost of £70 (this can be paid monthly) Please call or email if you are interested – these spaces don’t come up very often. This is a great way to mix up your training with circuits, tabata, TRX, kettlebells and weights and to keep going despite the dark nights. First come first served so get in touch….
Aspire Swim Challenge
This year there is a fit4evermore team completing the Aspire Swim Challenge of swimming 22 miles in the pool over a 12 week period. There is also a husband and wife team and I have roped in my family to form Team Nielsen too. It is great to see clients signing up to a mileage challenge and finding time in their week to complete their lengths. It is all about doing different things and challenging yourself. I am certainly floored by my 2 younger daughters and their sheer determination in the pool. I’m not sure I would have had the focus to complete 64 lengths of front crawl at age 12 or 40 at age 10 – then again knowing me…..!!  I’m very proud of all those involved and loving hearing about your progress. Keep those texts coming.
