It’s here at last! My 2018 diary has arrived and I really cannot wait to start using it. There is something really special about starting a new chapter with the year stretching out in front of you full of opportunities and possibilities. There are so many dates already that I’ve been scribbling in the back of my 2017 diary. I do know however that lots of people dread the ‘New Year’ and the pressure to be a ‘New You.’ The hype around losing weight, fitness challenges, slowing down and dreaming big to name a few can be overwhelming.
For me 2017 has been a year of consolidation. I have made real progress with my business and have tried and tested systems in place. There is more balance day to day and Ingolf and I work hard but work together at keeping everything going. The girls have all but grown up and that has taken some adjusting to in the last 12 months!
So looking forward to 2018 – what is in store for you?
For me it is largely about more of the same. I will continue to focus on Personal Training and Massage and using them to complement each other. My Challenge Series will continue until April so there are still 4 more opportunities for you to boost your fitness for free. You can join here if you have not already done so. In May I will publish it as a resource for anyone looking to boost their fitness and wellbeing. The blogs and Facebook posts will continue and I would love to see more interaction and feedback from you all.
My ‘Moving More’ book will be published early in 2018. The plan is to get the .pdf version out to all of you that contributed before the end of 2017 and to then publish the ebook and print version early in the New Year. I am so excited (if a little nervous) at finally sharing ‘Moving More’ with you all. It brings together my experience and expertise with lots of advice, tips and ideas from clients on getting fitter, stronger and healthier. There is a clear plan to follow as well as workouts, recipes, race reports and inspiration aplenty. It has been a real labour of love but I am so excited to be so close to publishing my first book. I have a feeling that this is just the start!!!
Your take-away from today
Now is a great time to look forwards and think about what you would like to do more of in 2018. It doesn’t have to be a life changing resolution or radical change. Focus on something that you enjoy and work out a way to do more of it in the weeks and months ahead. New habits are formed one step at a time and today is a great time to get started!
